There are 8 seat sizes to choose from to ensure the chair matches user requirements.

Opera chairs are supplied with the medium seat as standard apart from the following variations:

•  20-2, 30-2, 50-2 and 60-2 come with the short seat
•  20-5-W, 20-8-W, 30-5-W, 30-8-W, 50-5-W and 50-8-W come with the medium and wide seat

A user should be able to sit in a chair without pressure against the back of their knees, with their back properly supported by the backrest and with adequate buttock and thigh support. There should be an approximate 5cm gap between their knees and the front of the seat to avoid pressure on the underside of the legs. The seat should also be approximately 5cm wider than the user to allow for movement and clothing.
