Chairs can be supplied with a selection of castors and glides to suit user needs and environment.
Glides are chair feet designed to keep the chair stationary on soft or hard floors. The big difference to a castor is they consist of a metal bottom that stabilizes the chair and makes sure it doesn’t easily slide out of place. Floor glides can be height adjusted to help deal with uneven surfaces.
Glides are appropriate for use in situations where a chair needs to remain stationary.
